Ideas for DPMS

Just got my first AR Style rifle, and I'm looking for customization ideas. Thanks in advance.

Ammo, optic, and range time.

not trying to sound like a ass, but a good optic and testing your capabilities goes along way. I have one with plastic hand guards on it. Think about what's cool and what you really can use.

It all depends how much you want to spend. I would start with optics.

Theres nothing wrong with dpms. I used the m4a1 with the gov before the military. It was a dpms ..... No problems ever

id get good at the basic stuff first and then tacticool it out based on use and how good you are with what

its about application

i suggest getting a bunch of mags and maybe a sling for it before anything else

Ammo! Shoot it! A Bunch! Then you will know what you want to customize. I find that I tend to change things up after i get a feel for the way a new AR shoots.

This.....x2. Send lots of rounds down range and research add-ons / upgrades. Ask others what they did to theirs and why, while at the range. An AR forum would be another place to get questions answered.
