that would probably be one of the main problems shtf, living in the country it would be safe but after the inner cities run out of items to scavenge for their will be roaming large groups of folks spreading out of the city that you'll have to watch out for
If an exodus headed into my land they would see the strung up bodies of those that came before them, but only thru binoculars while still outside of my shooting distance. I have children so I can't afford the luxury of mercy. No warning shots and its shoot to wound horribly not to rag doll.

I beg to differ. no available fuel and martial law lockdown will imobilize the gangsters. Im headed for a 80 acre spread with livestock and a stream 40 miles outside the metro area and will take my chances.
