I'm done with Eastman's Gun Shows

The shows are OK for accessories, bags, etc., but I've rarely found a good deal on guns or ammo. I like to get the Georgia Arms factory loads at the shows to save shipping charges.

Georga Arms shipping charges are usually about the same as or close to the $8.00 it costs to get in - plus you don't put any $$ in Eastmans pocket

You can pay me the $8 and I'll kick you in the balls instead.. that's how I feel about Eastman Shows...

and I used to work them as well.

I used to think of Eastman's shows as $8 entertainment because I got to hold a lot of guns.

It seems to me that Matt Eastman has become more and more disrespectful- even to the attendees. I don't think I will go to another one.

I won't step into an eastman show even if matt himself paid for me to get in. If i have to see his smug look on his face one more time when giving him my money, i might slap the daylights out of him. Obviously I have some problems with the man. That old man infuriates me. Usually people at least smile when you give them money, not him. He gives you a look like your an a-hole for taking up his time to make change for a $20. I've also been witness to him going up to a dealer and telling them to raise the prices of his guns or he would have to leave.

Thanks for the link Barton. I'm sure things can be had for less money than at gunshows. I just thought the link to a sold out product was funny. I don't know anything about SKS magazines and have no idea of their quality. I have been to the Marietta show 4-5 times. Every time I have been there, I have seen something of interest. Granted, it has almost always been on the shoulder of someone walking in. I have also been able to unload some extra ammo to others at that show. I don't know Matt Eastman and have no personal opinion of him. However, I'll likely attend future shows he does in Marietta. And, I've never been hassled when walking around with a firearm for sale or talking to an attendee with a firearm for sale at that show. I know that has been a knock against his shows, but it has not been an issue at the Marietta show.

Went to an eastman once and they handed me a card to fill out. I told him I did not want that and he told me that it was a LAW that he had to give me that. I took it and put it down on the table in front of him. A LAW really?!!!!!!
