I was pleased with the XLT package. I got lucky and found mine with shift on the column and a color that I actually liked.I mean, honestly, if I pull the trigger on a 5.0 it's gonna have to be an XLT. I can't justify spending so much on a Lariat or King Ranch, and to have crap I don't even want or trust (keyless ignition, center shift/console). At least with an XLT I can get out for around $42k-44. In that situation I would put $25k or 30k down and then deal with the rest over a 3 or 4 year loan term.
