Can you insure a car that's not under your name??

I have a motorcycle and a car, my girlfriend also have a motorcycle and a car.

I was wondering if we can combine policies and get multi-vehicle discounts. My bike and car are under my name, and hers are on her name. She's already listed as a driver on my policy, just wondering if she can go ahead and cancel her policy and I'll just add her vehicles to my policy.

Yes you can. I insure a vehicle under my fathers name. Least Allstate doesn't complain.

That's all I need to know. I dont mind changing insurance company if it'll let me do it and save some mooolahs for ammo and guns :-P
