What? Is this your attemp to muddy waters and confuse people?
A rifle, chambered for a small pistol cartridge, is a complete waste. Get an APC, GHM, mp5, etc ,etc, etc. If you carry a full rifle, you may as well get the benefits that rifle cartridge provide.
If your argument is about range linking only, then whatever. It's a weak argument, but at least it's just for range fun. The funny part is, that the proponents of such stupidness always discuss them in terms of "deep carry," "back-up gun," Yada Yada Yada. In which any case of use for those is defense. I.e. lives are on the line. Ie, the user has handcuffed their effectiveness by neutering their rifle. You want discreet? Carry a handgun.
Good for you.I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again
Not a bit. There are plenty of options. Pick your poison ar varient. Stribog. Scorpion. PSA this and that. There are tons of options out there. Now you're advocating $2000 to $3000 "operator" type weapons?
I'd say a good number of folks interested in PCCs have economy in mind. A Kel Tec Sub2K can be had for less than $400. It works. Or, for that matter, a Hi Point Carbine. Also works. People with slightly higher budgets might opt for a Ruger PC9, S&W FPC, or Beretta CX4.
My PCC is a Rossi 92 in 357, which has reliable deer killing power with my hand loads out to about 150 yards. I can also shoot that gun for half the cost of bulk 22LR. Light. Flat. Handy.
All of these PCCs offer much better accuracy potential in the hands of average shooters than a handgun. These are useful weapons to different kinds of people for different purposes. Home defense. Hobby shooting. Small and medium game hunting. Farm and ranch use. How many people do you imagine carry an MP5 in a saddle rig or UTV?
No reason not to buy what works for you with your own hard earned money. Don't call other people wrong because their wants or needs are not yours.
And I'm not going to buy one unless they put some walnut stocks onto that stupid black polymer frame!Stop the fudd nonsense.
