Is there a "cure" for old Toyota silver paint?

Is it confined to the hood? If so repaint, but it'll obviously take someone with skill

who can color match as it'll be faded.
Wife has the same one in a 2007. Zero damage to clear coat but the tint has changed a bit over the years, but it's consistent so hard to tell it's not as new.

If you do decide to repaint, you could try Meguire's 3 step process first. You won't have anything to lose at that point.

Clear coat delamination from UV rays. Strip and repaint is the proper repair. Getting the vehicle wrapped is the Macongo way.

Known issue. May be eligible for a recall, some models and years are. My 07 FJ looked like that. So I raptor lined the whole damn thing. $200 for DIY and looked great!
I painted my whole 66 Barracuda with John Deere Blitz Black paint.They paint their frames with it and it looks look hot rod paint and it was cheap.
