Is this Ammo safe to shoot?

Those are full wad cutter loads intended for target use. The blunt nose cuts a very clean, round hole in paper targets to make it easier to score.

What you`re referring to as extra crimps, that I see on the first two rounds in you photo, is actually a knurled ring that goes around the circumference of the case. This isn`t unusual, I`ve seen several different brands of factory full wad cutter ammo with this knurling on the cases.

I don`t know what the reason is for the knurling but I`ve shot and reloaded cases of this style many times with no problems.

There`s a chance that the ammo you`re showing is factory original. However there`s also a chance that your ammo may be someone`s reloads of unsafe or questionable quality.

Since you`re unsure of the safety of your ammo I`d say err on the side of caution and don`t fire it.
The extra knurling is supposed to prevent a bullet from being seated too deeply into the case.
