I think its a good idea. instead of sending a sniper and a spotter in the military can send in one man teams now. hell give the spotter one on a gun too. double the fire power!

I'd use that hunting in a heart beat!

I use hunting and camping as Beta testing stuff and getting to know my equipment better. I see a bean field and running deer a good way to train for zombies.

How is this any different than using a pda ballistic computer and laser ranging like we use now? All it does is combine multiple steps into one. Long range shooting is a science not an art. As far as using it for hunting I'd much rather see people use this for hunting than so many of the tools that think they are snipers gut shooting deer at 800-1000 yards or more and the poor thing having to bleed to death slowly while they try and find it.

Using proper tools we can consistently hit 3-5" targets at over 1000 without leaving wounded animals or unhit x's out there.

I would imagine this would only be used for actual tactical situations i.e. sniper ops. HOPEFULLY it wouldn't be used for hunting. I think it would take a HUGE amount of fun and skill out of it.

You are.

You can try to tag the target over and over until you get the tag where you want it (it's placement shows up on the target through the scope). After the target is well tagged, you pull the trigger, but the weapon doesn't fire until the cross hair is on the predetermined tag again. You will be assuring where the cross hair is when the rifle fires BEFORE it actually fires. Fair for hunting? Hell, no. But to kill our enemies, go for it!
