Is this good advice for carry (your holster)?

With IWB hybrids or soft sided holsters like he had..........I say yes. Hybrids will slightly close and getting the gun back in them causes many untrained carriers to cant the gun toward the body to be able to get it started back into the holster. You end up pointing your gun at yourself to holster instead of going straight in. I've seen it many times.

And his "Keep your gun in hand till police arrive, dont reholster your weapon..." not sure thats a great idea to just wait around for police holding a gun. But, he is a tactical dude. Maybe thats correct protocal.

I stopped watching after about 1:17; surprised I made it that far. First off, I'm a HUGE fan of retention holsters, not soft ones the guy is showing; especially for Glocks. I will agree with the fact that you should use caution when re-holstering; that's where problems occur. Practice, practice, practice. I don't agree with keeping your gun out after a shooting until police arrive. You conceal carry for a reason. I don't know if I would immediately tell them I was the shooter. They'll figure it out. The last thing I want to do is throw hot button items on a fluid and heated situation. If police show up to a shooting call with casualties, you don't know that you've been identified. They show up and all they see is you carrying and if it's a casualty event, I doubt you would even hear the shot. I think my best bet would be to neutralize the threat, go back to concealed carry and assist with any injuries.

I'm interested to see what the LEO's say to this and IN for good advice here.....
