I am, if your numbers are correct, one of the three percent.
Yes, I have had several teachers who were that way.
On the 'up-side' we communicate.
On the 'down-side' our language deteriorates.

But, that is the way it has always been.
Crude talk becomes slang, slang goes into the Dictionary, then becomes acceptable.
One example ...
The actual word, "Egoism" entered our language, thanks to Sigmiod Fraud.
'Ego' from Latin, "ism' a form added to countless words as 'an advocate of'.
Then "Egoism" became "Egotism". Just weird.
You NEVER hear of Communtism,
Maotism,
Republictism,
Elitetism,
Communicatism ...

Yes. Language changes constantly, and will always continue to do so.
