Issues checking status @ NFA branch.

I have tried calling the NFA Branch for a status update on my supressor but I never get an answer. Has anyone else had the same issue and if you leave a message do they ACTUALLY call you back?

Actually I left a VM for one of them on a problem status. They called me back 2 days later, letting me know they got the correction, it was on the examiners desk and it would be approved that day.

Nothing they tell you is gonna let you know exactly when you get your item .LET THEM WORK ! When the dealer calls it is approved .lol

How did you pay for the tax stamp? Track the check money order or cashiers check?

you should be able to track that to see if they cashed it and what date. That's a start. That's how I tracked mine. They recv mine August 7, deposited couple days later. Recv my can first week February.

The people who answer the phones are not the people approving forms. Different folks. I call multiple times a week for stuff. I get answers about half the time. The best time to call is about 8AM. I think they are open 730-500.

It don't matter how you pay. They cash the checks right away...Ours cleared quick and we are still waiting for our stamp
