Well it looks like I am gonna have to wait until Thursday to find out. Spoke with Dekalb Property room and they received the authorization (I called prior to stopping by there) but they have to run that in their 'system' and the firearm should be available for me to pick up on Thursday.

You'd think they are making some kind of interest on guns they keep in stock...the way they hold on to these is insane. Looking forward to Thursday though and will definitely bring it home and give it a thorough cleaning. Might even take it to Glock on Friday to have them replace any worn parts. I can't imagine it being in the condition I originally had it in... it was pristine when it was taken from me, just like all of my other firearms.

I had a pistol stolen and it was recovered during a drug bust about 5 months later. It was about another 18 months before it was back in my hands. Before they gave it back to me, she had to give me a lecture on how lucky I am and how I need to be more careful. It least she was very easy on the eyes
