I do not understand why folks with items like this don't ship once the "good funds" tendered by the buyer have cleared one's bank. Using registered mail, the shipped package is signed for every time it changes hands. I have been using it for 50 years or so and have not lost anything.

A round trip to Atlanta will cost me $150 and 10 hours of driving. Registered mail was about $20 last time I used it.
