Item Description: For those interested, the controls on the standard Constable were practically the same as in Walther PP pistols, except that turning the safety lever on also locked the slide closed, which meant the safety had to be taken off to check the chamber. It also meant that the first round could not be chambered with the safety on; on the other hand, it did not automatically decock when the slide closed.
This is an all nickel, very high quality and well made pistol.
Never had any problems with the pistol, I've only shot it about 20 rounds, not sure of round count in total.
