For sale is an American made IAI Commercial made M1 Carbine...
They made around 15,000 before giving up on mass producing GI M! carbine copies...
This carbine has a Green Mountain barrel, shoots straight, I bought it malfunctionng, wouldn't extract fired cases properly, my checkover found that the M2 bolt in it was worn and the extractor was worn out and partially mssing... I installed a brand new 1950's GI M2 bolt in it and headspaced it accordingly... Headspaced beautifully and runs flawlessly now, very good shooting little carbine... Has several surplus GI parts internally also... metal handguard instead of the normal wood GI one...
Will toss in a 50 round box of current mfg. ammo for it also.!!!!!!!
