So please help me keep an eye out on this site and similar ones, please and thank you. God Bless, Stay Safe

police said that its a "crew" from Atlanta hitting the north. All my neighbors cars were broken into and had items stolen, they're hitting multiple neighborhoods in the area. So stay safe, put out your cameras. Stay Loaded.

Damn man, I hate to hear that. My dad just got his 5906 stolen from his truck in broad daylight at office complex he works at. The cops caught the guy about an hour later, but no gun. The officers said they come up from the city and are looking specifically for guns. I quit leaving a gun in my truck.

I live in Creekside subdivision off 13 and we had 2 car break in nights last month. (multiple vehicles each night)

Thanks for the location. I never keep a gun in the car unless I'm with it, but I don't want anyone rummaging through my vehicles anyway. Knowing where they're hitting places, gives me a heads up on things. Thank You.

I'm sorry they got your stuff and I hope you get it back.

But one boring night guarding nuclear weapons with a .45 it occurred to me that weapons protect people and people protect weapons, so if a firearm isn't locked in the safe, it's with me.

Yea your right. I forgot about the "boobie trap" law or whatever the actual name of it is.

What boobie trap?

Last round you shot at the range was a squib and you had no idea...

OP, hope you get it back.

Folks, please don't leave firearms unattended without a secondary measure to keep them out of thieves' hands.

How is it a felony?

I know booby traps are but a broken gun?
What I was talking about was deliberately plugging barrel, illegal. If there is a squib in there and it appears to be an accident that the barrel is obstructed, technically not illegal. Now if you ram a 10 mm in a .40 or drill the chamber so you can do that, probably illegal lol.
