With bayonet!
Hi, pretty day, time to take pictures and sell some guns!
For sale is a Springfield Model 1873 rifle manufactured in the autumn of 1889 right at the twilight of the wild west.
It's been in my family a long time. The bayonet I picked up at a gun show in Vermont in 1983.
Shiny bore, shockingly accurate. It's killed one whitetail and several California jackrabbits, lol.
It has the usual garrison dings in the stock and scratches around stock endcap where it was stacked with other rifles.
I'm showing the asking price for another one online to illustrate what a buy this is and you can show it to your wife in case she gets mad easily.
