Listing an Enfield No 1 Mk III SMLE for sale. It was manufactured by Enfield in 1918 which was war time production. The receiver, nose cap and rear sight are matching (Z966). The magazine and bolt are non matching. Overall condition of this ShtLE is good. The action is smooth and has been professionally inspected, cleaned and fired by a gunsmith. The gunsmith said the bore is in fair condition, it does the job but won’t win competitions. Stock disk is there and the butt plate is brass material. There is an import mark on the lefthand side of the receiver. The magazine has seen better days so I’ll include an authentic spare. This rifle is 104 years old, it has imperfections in the metal and wood but that’s completely expected for something this old.

Asking $650 for this Enfield but willing to hear offers. I’m very flexible on payment methods whether it’s cash or digital forms. Only trades I’ll consider is other Curio & Relics. To complete the sale, will need to see an ID just to make sure you are you. If you’re in the market for an Enfield and or WWI era rifle, this is your match! Please don’t hesitate to PM me for any questions.

Any markings on the knoxform under the short upper handguard? Also, could I see a clearer pic of what looks like a pretty good section gone from the buttstock next to the sling swivel? Thanks.

Thank you for your response. I put some chalk on the upper handguard to make those markings clearer. The section chipped on the back end of the buttstock is 1 inch long and 1/4 inch deep at its deepest point. It looks like long ago someone took a chip out of it and then evened it out the best they could. The chipped section is right before the sling swivel. The sling swivel is very sturdy.
