Item Relisted! FS/FT 1884 Trapdoor Springfield

I Traded for this beautiful 1884 Trapdoor Springfield a few months ago. It cleaned up nicely, but now it just sits in the cabinet as a “safe Queen.” It’s a wonderful piece with a rich history and is in remarkably good shape for a 140 year old rifle. There is some pitting on the side plate and light putting on the barrel, but overall condition is good. It’s such a long rifle it’s hard to get all detail in Frame. If there’s anything specific you’d like a picture of I’d be happy to add them later. This is a really pretty rifle and I’m tempted to hold on to it, but even so I’m not much for keeping guns I don’t regularly shoot, so I’m trying to see what’s out there. Tried to add a picture of the rifling but it’s such a long barrel it’s dark and difficult to see, but it’s present and strong.
