This rifle was manufactured in 1910 by Springfield and to my knowledge is still in its original 1910 configuration, meaning this gun has not been updated or rearsenaled.
It has the correct straight bolt handle, 1-10 Springfield dated barrel with strong rifling little to no pitting, early split barrel band, single bolt reenforced stock.

Comes with a spare bolt body and 3 stripper clips.

This rifle has had 2 stock repairs, one in the wrist and one at the foreend and the handguard has a hairline crack. Pictures are provided.

This is a low serial number 1903. TFB (thefirearmblog) has a good article on these rifles. Make your own judgment whether this is a collector’s piece or a shooter.

PM me with buying offers or trade offers.
