My father had a Ted Williams 12 gauge pump that was a clone of the Winchester 1200. Solid gun. I had a JC Higgins model 20 pump in 12 a few years ago. It was a copy of the High Standard Flite King. Even with one action bar it was the smoothest pump action I ever owned. You could hold it upright press the slide release and it would fall to the open position. And it could be slam fired like the old Ithaca 37 models.FYI, Sears had a Ted Wiilliams line of firearms (and other stuff) that was the top end line.
I have a Ted Williams O/U that is a rebranded Winchester 101. Even though it has high grade wood and nice embossed engraving, it's worth considerably less than a branded 101.
I had a Model 31 with the retractable sling, It might have worked when it was new, but it didn't come close to working by the time it got to me.
