30 days seems appropriate. Might save him from years of jail later in life...

The article said "He admitted to throwing it at her eye on purpose." But we all know that those that couldn't get hired on at McDonalds, went into journalism. lol

Any kid that can make a paper airplane that he can throw and hit a quarter with it, is truly amazing. This kid should be hired on at NASA.

Hell I was lucky to get one to go all the way across the classroom.

If that had been one of my boys when they were teenagers I would have to put up a fight before I would allow jail time for some childish crap like that and you can bet when I was done with him he would think before he did something like that again . I am not sure a arrest means no collage grants or anything else of that nature

In the article, He admitted to throwing the airplane at a teacher with the intent to hit him in the eye, which it did, DUH, maybe 30 days in the slammer will teach him better things to do with his life.

Even though I paid for my kids to go to private school, if they ever got in trouble, to say anything, only "lawyer" or "call my father"....

In today's public schools, they teach reliance on government as a foundation principle. If kids do not learn their constitutional rights from home, rest assured they will not learn them at school.

Regardless, if they are wrong, I will apply the necessary discipline at home.

in effect he stated he intended to commit bodily harm to the teacher which is what hitting him in the eye well could be..... regardless it's assault and battery.....go for the three to five in state prison as an adult. then have the teacher sue the parents.
