Jeep's... talk to me

Will it have a v8 or a diesel 6? It will be tough to compete with the Tacoma.

Basically, yeah..
I didnt really read about it, but im sure itll have the same engine choices as the standard jeep. It wont really be a haul stuff truck. If they put the ecodiesel engine in there, I would consider looking at it.

They're good vehicles, many upgrades and accessories are available. I have a two door and the wife has a four door. Only problems you'll possibly have issues with is if you lift it depending on how high you'll need adjustable control arms, upgraded driveshafts, and to fit the larger tires you'll need aftermarket wheels. If you find one at a jeep dealership it more than likely will still have the factory warranty which is a good thing. If you do plan to offroad a lot I suggest changing out the axles, unless you get a rubicon. Another thing to consider if you do lift it and put larger tires is to regear it. The factory gearing is slow and sluggish with larger wheels and tires. Also another thing to consider if you plan to offroad a lot is lockers. They come factory in rubicons but if you were to get a sport or sport x they don't. Oh yea if you do get one don't forget to wave at other jeepers.

Also another thing to look out for is axle seals. My fronts failed at roughly 30k miles. Replaced and differential was serviced under warranty. It's been almost 13k miles since and no issues, I suspect it was from riding too rough on some rough trails.

Looks like a hard rock met pepboys.

New in the news is a 2020 jeep gladiator truck!

It's about damn time they finally produced that model. I used to have a car magazine from around 03 when they had a Gladiator concept vehicle. But it was a regular cab truck based on the Liberty . Best part was it had a diesel engine.

gayest one i ever saw was in high school in the late 90s, maybe 00 or 01......it was a lowered jeep wrangler....yes....you read that right...a lowered wrangler....on big stupid rims of course....it was purple or yellow, cant remember the color. but i distinctly remember it being lowered at least 3 inches, maybe 4.
I don't recall ever seeing a lowered Wrangler stupid as that would be. I have seen a few lowered Rovers. And a guy where I work has a lowered Grand Cherokee that's 4 wheel drive. He's one of those folks I just never talk to.

I've said it before.....

Buy the newest, lowest mileage, LEAST MODIFIED one you can find/afford. Then build what makes you happy.

Jeeps are the AR of the auto world and as such most have tons of useless **** slapped on them you dont need and does more harm than good.
I've seen some scary **** when it comes to Jeeps and mods done by "professionals".....

I have a 15 Sahara 2 door as a daily driver. About to trade for a 18. I love it. Mine is not lifted. Gets me wherever i want to go. I dont do mud anymore. Handles great. Stiff ride but I don’t mind. I average 20.5 per gallon.
