I went there last week. Joe is very nice and talks to his customers while they wait. I saw the rating which Is why we went there too.

Food was great. I usually just bbq myself so that was my first "bbq" place so I have nothing to compare it to.

They also open till they sell out. He says maybe 2-3 pm they sellout.

I went before all the "best of" hubbub. It's ok. The food is tasty, but nothing spectacular IMO. Certainly not going to stand in line for it.

There's lots of good Q in north Georgia...

Poole's in Ellijay has always been my favorite, but I haven't been there is years. I was not impressed with the Pink Pig.

How does Joe's rate in comparison to Poole's?
