I mean I thought the choke was off. Where would it's adjustment be at.

Mine was not fuel injected and had a manual choke lever.
This was my problem.

On some of these the adjustment is on the bottom .

Sometimes its factory set and you have to take out what looks like a tiny freeze plus to get to the adjustment screw .
