Just Finished Taxidermy Deer Mount Project! What do you think?

I started dabbling in some deer taxidermy about 2 years ago. Got my license and have done a few deer for folks. They all seem to be happy with my hobby so far. In 2022, I shot a good buck at the Red Top Mtn quota hunt. I’ve been wanting to mount it and I’m just now getting started on it. I thought I would document my progress here and let everyone see how it goes. I will add pictures along the way. I will also include some pictures of the deer I have mounted for others. Let me know your thoughts!

Need a form, eyes, ear liners and prepare the cape. Put it all together and do some airbrush work. I have never understood why it takes a year or more to get one back.Must have a lot in front of you to be done

I took the caped hide out the freezer Sunday (Feb 16) after church. I was able to start working it yesterday (Feb 19) and now I have it salted and hanging.
