My wife and I have 3 checking accounts. One with the direct deposits and bill pay and all the money. Each of us has a small account with $50 in it at most. Whenever we want to buy from Amazon etc, we xfer the money to the secondary "firewall" account and make the purchase. I need to make sure we never use the main debit, (in fact I think I'll retire the main debit cards) and only use the firewall accounts debit cards for gas and store purchases.

Bandit have you used it at the IHOP outside of home depot on 20? My card number got stolen from there at Christmas of 2011. They tried buying air tickets the next morning and NFCU caught it.

I would def go back to that restaurant and talk to the owner and not make a fit about it. They may not know they have a dirty employee and he could do some research and find out who this employee is. Good luck man

someone at a restaurant Gainesville got my a couple of years ago. they bought stuff in Arizona and Texas and I used the ATM here a BOA shut mine down. I had my monies back the next day. Good luck with the headaches.

i had it happen twice in 2012. After the second one, I did ^^^^^ this. I was in Savannah on July 4th when the charges hit. WF shut down the account and my son had to pay the restaurant tab. My card was likely skimmed at a local (ATL, Buford) restaurant both times. A phone with a camera makes quick work of it. The waiter probably sold my info for a few bucks. Good luck. If you have auto-debit on the card get ready to make some phone calls.
