Just one .45acp pistol

I’ve had a Glock 21 for 25 years now. Thousands of rounds through them. Been through several generations now and just bought a Gen 5. If I had to grab one pistol in my safe, that would be it. That said my P220 would be my second choice and one of these days, I’ll get a 1911…

I'm certainly no expert.
And I have a Glock 30 and 21 that I really like.
But this Colt is almost as fun as being 21 again, and knowing what I know now.
But I've never owned a Wilson Combat, Ed Brown,Dan Wesson or Nighthawk.
But if they are any better, I don't think I could stand myself, and I'd bet it would be real expensive to find out.

If you were to own just one 45 ACP pistol, what would it be?

I'm thinking of getting back on the 45 ACP game. Not planning on getting any more than just one. What would be your recommendations?

I love my 1911's but honestly this one goes to the range with me the most. S&W 625.

I have a cheap ATI Commender size 1911. I like it for what it is but I don't like paying for 45ACP . Someone suggested trading it for one in 9mm but that's just WRONG. I prefer my 45 in 1911s and if we're going 9 there's just way better options.
On a side note yes, owning a 1911 in 45ACP does make me feel much more manly.
