I kinda want a peddler too.

For how I use it, it's amazing. Deep lake with a ramp, always kind of windy, fishing spots all over spread out. Huge upgrade.

Didn't get in the yak all January. Finally had a not too windy, dry night. Not many fish or bites, but quality was over quantity.

I was pretty pumped on the 5.7lb one. It was my "last cast". I'm pretty sure I woke someone up hooting and hollering. Santa brought me a handle to rail mount that moved my finder way closer to me, which is great for both seeing/playing with settings, but also gives me closer to 360 degree casting. I never realized it was kinda in the way until it wasnt anymore. New NRS boots are awesome too. Way less chunky than rubber, and warmer.

Where/what you fishing in February? I normally don't get out on the water til mid-late March but the bug is biting pretty hard right now. Thinking about putting in this weekend, if nothing other than to just float around, get my line wet and get away from the kids for a morning.

I live across the street from ~100 acre private lake. Dragging yak down soon. Dock lights with swim baits usually.

Couple more from Friday. Got zero bites on Wednesday. Lake surface got up to 50, but this cold rain probably isn't helping.

They are starting to awaken! The big bucket managed to escape me as I had her on the scale. She was more than 7, less than 8. I kept waiting for it to settle and she ended up on my lap without the jaw gripper, then plopped right over the side. I could see a few cruising around. Can't wait for tomorrow.

Finally got the little man a night kayak bass. He was pumped. In the rain showers.
