Kayak Fishing Thread

9 more last night. Nothing too big. Normal swimbait wasn't working at all. Had to go with sinking Rapala.

I’ve got a couple of hobie’s mirage drive kayaks. Two singles and a tandem. Love them.

I'm thinking of buying a new tandem and selling my older one.

I still love the way my bonafide fishes but looking at the hobie mirage, called a place on st George Island that sells them and will go down there to try one out. How does the mirage do in shallow water?

If too shallow the fins can hit bottom. I just short stroke the pedals. It’s not as fast, but works.
Sometimes I just get the paddle.

No fish but my daughters first solo trip

Caught three on Saturday! Been crazy busy with the kids this spring so it was my first time out on the water this season. Fully got the bug again though.
