Kayak Fishing Thread

Gwinnett digital learning. Done by noon. Wendy's and kayak fishing in the afternoon. Finally skunked my son. 6.3 lbs.

Night bite is warming back up as my fishing grounds cool down. Hottest the surface got was 85. It was dead then. Now below 80. Destroying the dark chatter bait. Tried trolling, snagged so hard the yak about flipped. Can't do that at night.

was close to purchasing a Hobie this year. Kind of glad i didn’t since i haven’t had much time to fish. It’s kind of sad when you see videos/pics of catch’s on the fall bite.

It's slowed down somewhat for me. Bass are everywhere but very picky. I have 5 rods with all different baits set up on the yak and can have them move right in front of the fish, but they usually chase it real lethargic-like.

Fall tourney on my little lake. 7 boats and me in the yak. 2nd biggest, 3rd biggest, and smallest. Good for 2nd place. Got me entry fee back lol.

Getting it done last night. Crappie were schooled up. Biggest one of my life. Wife was not happy with me coming in so late, but the bite was fierce!

I got my yak and tricked it all out just before peddle drives took off.

I kinda want a peddler too.
