Hey Guys, have any of you owned the Kimber Stainless II in 9mm? Any pros and cons are welcomed, also an estimate on what you would consider a good deal on one that hasn't been fired according to the owner and in excellent shape. Thanks guys!

I was real tempted to grab one. Seen them sell in the $700 - $750 range.
I ended up picking up a Springer instead. I would go that route. A little harder to find, but they can be found.

I agree with this guy ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^. Avoid the potential reliability issues Kimber is known for and get a Springfield.
Thanks for the feedback guys, I appreciate it, unfortunately, I have already bought it, went to the range the next day and so far am pleasantly surprised, didn't have any failures of any kind, but again, that is just one time to the range, time will tell. I do want to get some better sights for it though. I will post again fer the 4th or 5th trip to the range
1911's can be ammo picky. I know because my DW Guardian 9 doesn't/won't feed my 147 Speer ammo. Eats everything else fine. Just know that 1911's also tend to have a break in period and like to be run wet. Did you get the Custom (5") or Pro (4") size?

Sent you a pm with a little info. BTW, start out using brass only, no Tula or Wolf steel for the break in.
