Kinda new, kinda not

I'm Adam, kinda new here. I know the ins and outs of the site pretty well and am able to find just about anything I'm looking for. The only complaint I have with this site is, and it is my fault totally, that I can barely get anybody to meet and buy things from them. I understand I am new and have no feedback, but, I have been using GON as a main place to do business because this site seemed so unreal to me. Now that I know what the deal is, I can say this site will definitely be my main window of dealing. Making my first purchase this afternoon after work!

Just post a little, let folks get to know you around the forums, and get a couple of deals under your belt and you'll be fine. There's been an influx of scammers lately so it's got folks being more cautious lately is all. You'll do fine. Good luck on your purchase later.

Welcome to ODT. Yes there are a few snowflakes and scammers, as there are on any site where money is involved, but most people here are pretty good. I've had pretty good dealings with everyone I've met. Everyone is pretty helpful too if you have questions.

Welcome. Definitely get involved in forums to get “known” a bit. Also as you make your first deals be sure and ask folks to leave feedback as that will help build a good reputation.

Unfortunately you’re coming in at a time that a lot of folks have gotten burned by newbies. I’m understanding more and more the ads that say they will only deal with you if you have MULTIPLE positive feedback.
