It’s a fun novelty. It could be useful if you really needed to deploy your knife fast (boxes and mail etc don’t move that fast.) most of the time it just freaks me out that it will accidentally wave open pulling my knife from my pocket and cut myself. But if you use a finger to hold the blade closed when you don’t want to wave it, then it’s a non issue.

Makes sense. I tend to only buy folders that ride tip down, I have this unrational phobia of tip up folders in my pocket
