Anybody have knowledge on this particular lake. Would like a few pointers on which area to launch my kayak. Want to do some striper fishing. Did some research and found a bait shop that sells gizzard shad.

It's very deep, don't fall in.

Been there once, put in off Holly Grove Rd side.
More interesting coves and trees in water on that side.
No luck, but I did't grow up striper fishing.
Had some customers of mine that used to troll for them and catch big ones on brim, shad.
I think they said where the warm water comes out of towers is a good area.

be careful on the upper end, some timber still standing ALOT under the surface and tangled with years of broken line, trot lines and hung up lures. You really wouldn't want to fall in around that area. Oh and I wouldn't eat anything that comes out of there, it has very high mercury levels.
