Legal to ship long guns from person to person in Georgia?

Just need some confirmation on a topic. Am i correct that long guns can be legally shipped from one person to the other as long as both parties are residents of georgia and lawfully permitted to own a gun, no ffl required?

USPS is the only option now though, since FedEx and UPS require an FFL involved for any firearms shipments.

Be prepared for an argument if the post office zombies figure out it's a firearm though.

Yes. Although most ODTers will tell you they don't want to deal with the "hassle" of shipping then offer for you both to drive an hour or more to meet up.

Technically, you can ship a handgun person to person (assuming both parties are residents of the state) in state, but you have to find a shipper -USPS is out.
