Lenox mall in Atlanta?

I have heard stories but never been there. Was debating going at lunch time on a week day to check out some higher end watches, but some of the people I work with who grew up here said don't go at night. Or really at all, as people are being followed and CCW is pretty frowned upon, and enforced through guards and detectors.

Is this the case? I'm really not trying to live in fear of going places, but I also don't want to die if I can help it

EDIT!!! Thanks all, decided not to go. Went to a Roswell store of the same chain and had such a bad experience I'm back to shopping on the internet and ODT.

Last time there, guards were at the door but only messing with the riff raff.
No scanner other than a hand held if my memory treats me right.

Mayors there has some really nice high end watches.

Go in the Morning or early afternoon.

I was there a week ago. It’s fine. Did see the “K9” being paraded around by the rent a cop but the place was empty of typical mall rat riff raff. A lot of high dollar, plastic injected chicks wiggling around ….

Your car is more vulnerable than you over there. Probably 50 cars to every human being messed with at Lenox.

Strange… in the 70s and early 80s , Lenox Square was the safest place on the planet. And they had the best hobby shops

Friend of mine and his wife decided to check it out during daylight hours and dog alerted to him. popo said he (dog) was trained to sniff for guns and asked him if he was carrying...... for some reason even he could not say why but He left it in the car... and that is what he told the officer, and they all went their separate ways ......
