LEO handles "gun guys" professionally and educates them in the process.

I did learn something from this video that I didn't know, that Police carry around a fully auto AR! I just thought SWAT had them.

Most departments have part-time "SWAT" units and are geared up and deployed "as needed", so they carry their gear in their patrol cars. This video was taken in Albany, Oregon with a population of 50,000 +/-. Part-time SWAT unit for sure. I'm betting he is a team member. Not much use for "full-auto" in a law enforcement environment...but it has "cool factor"..(which aint worth much)

is it just me,or was there a rd chambered?
At 9:28 when he works the action, something sure as heck flies up/out. I thought the same thing and don't know why nothing was said about it.

All I kept thinking when watching that was, "What real problem needing that officer is NOT being attending to because of this stunt..."

I have a hard time making the connection that these guys are hurting the 2nd amendment. What they are doing is nothing I would ever consider doing and there does seem to be some attention seeking behavior issues present but, from another perspective all those people that called the cops and complained or were worried that these guys were some how breaking the law had to watch the police give these guys their guns back and go on their way. Those people learned (hopefully), that while what these guys were doing was maybe odd to them, it was not illegal. The more people understand that carrying a gun openly in public, no matter the gun is legal and not some great taboo, the better IMO.

Walking the streets with your nerd posse` with AR's strapped to your back immediately after Aurora is probably not the most timely or productive way to advance the understanding and acceptance of more pro 2A attitudes and laws. I've never had to shove a gun in someone's face to have them understand the value of the 2A.
Legal on their part? Yes. Wise.....? Well, they are young....

I do agree, their age probably plays a big part in what they are doing however, all that matters is that it is legal. 100% of the people do not have to like what another person is doing 100% of the time and most likely never will but that does not matter. All that matters in our justice system is that a person is operating inside the boundaries of the law, what they are doing might be scary to some, it might be crazy to others but in real life we operate under big boy rules and you can not make someone stop doing something just because you disagree or do not like what they are doing..well you are not supposed to be able to anyways. Though it seems as of late the wants or perceived needs of the mob are taking a front seat to everything else including the law.

BTW, I wish I had a nerd posse. Then I could figure out why my TV's HD signal is blurry sometimes and sometimes it is crisp and clear when using Comcast's HD channels.

No, that is not all that matters. That is all that LEGALLY matters, yes. No one is lobbying (I don't think) or least not I, for the nerd possee to not be 'able' to show their naivety but some are rightfully questioning the wisdom of doing so especially in that fashion and at that time. I suppose it would have also been 'legal' for them to be doing so with a Joker costume on too huh? Plenty of stuff is legal but unwise and vice versa.
