Leprosy Breaks out in South Florida

I think we all know why this is suddenly popping up...

But the good thing about leprosy is that 95% of people will be immune. The bad thing about leprosy is if you're in the 5% group.

That is correct. The thing is, armadillos were introduced to Florida by humans. They naturally migrated up through Mexico into the SW US so that is a natural migration. Not so in Florida. Humans introduced them and like most things humans introduced to Florida, they need to be gotten rid of.

I don't think anything living in Florida, outside of alligators, are native.
