Yes. you got it.

I was kind of looking for the "model name" of the rifle that this was based on --which was the Mark V, but on the other hand the Mark V is a repeater that uses a blind magazine and this pistol version is a single shot! So I would've given it a different name because it's fundamentally such a different action, The difference goes beyond just the shorter barrel and the type of stock they gave it.


QUOTE FROM AN AUCTION SITE:

"Only 150 of these pistols were produced and only 125 released to the market. Globe front sight, Williams adjustable receiver peep sight, and the top of the receiver is drilled and tapped for scope mounts. Mark V action with fluted bolt. Thumbhole pistol grip with rosewood forend tip and grip cap with diamond insert."

P.S. They came in both .22–250 and 308 Winchester, although obviously the .308 was the more popular model.
