I'm leery of take-down rifles with the scope on one section, and the barrel on the other.
Or the rear sight on the receiver, but the front sight on the barrel.
Any misalignment of the sections= the sights will be off.
Does the point of impact ever shift due to disassembly and reassembly?

I have time to decide but want to have it scoped and ready when the stamp arrives but I am also concerned about the takedown accuracy and will go another direction if I have any idea it will be an issue. The Ruger has not been shot and if it is going to be dead on I will keep it for sure, if not I would like to know before going to the trouble of scoping and before shooting it.
