Pics of the new Savage 301 that’s on order are soon to come.

They’ve been out of stock everywhere in the state, but I finally found one. Got it set up with a micro red dot and some TSS #9’s. I’ll give a report on the pattern tomorrow.

Wal-mart version of the camo 870 youth w/20" bbl - 20 gauge. At the smith getting drilled and tapped for a Burris FF3! Sumtoy base and choke designed for TSS!!

It’s sure is.
I bet that he was sending a good portion of the pattern over the target. He was aiming with the front bead and the optics rail. There is a small notch in the receiver that you should use as a rear sight. Using the scope base as a rear sight would be sending the shots high.
