Lets see your everyday carry!!

The only holster I've used besides a MS was a Crossbreed. I'm not a fan of kydex...if the kydex was leather lined I might use that.

I was slow to come around but find that for real (almost) everyday use the kydex works best for me. There are long range days where my gun is drawn countless times so in addition to being a bit faster I really like the secure "click" sound of the gun being fully reinserted.
I also like the non-absorbent properties when it is in the mid to high 90's w/ 100% humidity & up against my skin.
However those are MY reasons relating to MY needs... doesn't mean that is what is best for everyone else.

There is nothing with a quality leather setup if you like it.

I am one of those people that does not feel that his friends & acquaintances have to wear the same underwear, socks, or holsters as I do.

To each his/ her own.

Actually had a brand new out of the box G-19 that "was broken" in class yesterday.
First time that's ever happened that I've seen. It had a bad trigger return spring & the trigger would not reset.
I replaced it while the shooters got in their car to warm up. It worked fine afterwards.

Really? Good lord.

Just curious, how early in TRS Production is yours? I had one that was about #180'ish, but it went "Down The Road" so I could buy some Five-Screw Smith or another....mikey357

Not that early. That one is in the high 3700's, which is 2008, and I have another one in the same general range as well. My dad has an earlier one, but still not as early as yours, I think his around 1500 or so.

I'm working on it...don't worry. Hopefully soon I'll be able to put a few boxes down range under your tutelage...

I'll look forward to it. If you're up to it I'll push you till your eyes bugout:shocked: (:))

Had a pretty fit guy in an Intermediate class earlier this year almost "go down" more from the mental stress than the physical stress although there was plenty of both. Made me smile inside cause he literally asked for it...

Um..If I came off as saying everyone should use leather that's not what I meant...i don't really care what anyone uses. I like leather...

It took me a long time to break the leather habit and fully switch over to kydex as well. I'll still break out the leather from time to time, but the overwhelming majority of the time it's kydex for as well, and generally appendix carry these days.

Well I would say bring it on but I'll do my damnedest to keep up

Appendix carry a Gov't 1911? Wow. I'm impressed. I tried it once...just no way I could get used to it.

Many in the training community don't like appendix carry.
I try to keep an open mind & believe that IF the shooter can follow the safety rules it has some great advantages.
