Lets see your everyday carry!!

Now that you mention it I'm reminded of the early 90s when I had a blued Colt Series 80 with factory rubber wrap arounds. One day I decided it would look much cooler with alan head grip screws. But when I removed the old slotted screws and peeled the rubber grip back from the frame I nearly panicked at what was underneath.

Indeed. Plus, those Russian Red grips are sexy as hell

I started this thread and my setup is the very 1st post. I'm a small frame guy and you can't tell the G26 is on me what so ever! I'm just paranoid about my shirt lifting up in some commercial buildings I work in.
this is what i have done on dress shirts for meetings..sow a little piece of velcro to the part that rides where your shirt goes and on your belt i used velcro straps that go on molly inserts...worked for me

Les Baer TRS. No parts breakages. Ejector was showing some pretty serious wear at about 25,000, so I had it replaced preemptively and did the firing pin at the same time just as a matter of practice, and of course recoil spring, mainspring, FP spring, have been replaced at appropriate intervals. I will be due for hild a new barrel in the next 10k or so, so I'll have that and a general overhaul done at the same time.

Les Baer poster child fo shur

When you mention the Russian red grips it reminds me of how I love the red Bakelite AK ( Red Dawn) AK mags. That pic with the red grips DID look better than my factory Baikal grip. I bought my first Baikal Mak from Chuck's Gun and Pawn in Warner Robins back in 96 NIB for $179.00 plus tax out the door. This last one I traded for cost me a little over $300.00. The FEG Hi Power I traded was under $300.00 but I let 3 extra mags go with it which were VERY hard to find in 2012.

Just curious, how early in TRS Production is yours? I had one that was about #180'ish, but it went "Down The Road" so I could buy some Five-Screw Smith or another....mikey357
