I have been fighting this scourge of the earth for a few weeks now. My dog has been in agony. Flea bath 3 times a week, washing all the dog blankets at about the same rate. I have applied Pet armor a few weeks back and it only seemed to to empower the little bastards. I have shaved all his the hair with my clippers down to 1/8th of an inch so I could see them and kill em. Rented a carpet cleaner hoping to get what could be in the carpet. What else could I do and what flea medications do yall use?

We use Revolution on the cat and Frontline Plus on our dog. We do not have any problems with fleas. A buddy of mine just went through a infestation and had to hire a professional to treat his house.

Try Trifexis, I had a horrible problem with fleas having 3 Great Danes and Frontline and spraying would only last a few days at best. The vet recommended Trifexis, saying it would start working within 30 minutes. I thought "yeah, right" but bought it anyway out of desperation. After giving them the Trifexis we took them to the park for a walk and my wife pointed to one of Danes and told me to check it out. The fleas were literally coming out of the fur and falling off. The vet did not exaggerate, within 30 minutes of taking Trifexis the fleas were falling off the dogs. It is expensive but it works!! We re-sprayed the entire house and their beds the same day and have not had a single flea since then.

Boric Acid on the carpets, poison, and a dog/yard flea treatment. Several BOMBS.Sucks- but we won. We had a friend bring there dogs over for a BBQ several months ago, about three weeks later it was like the russians invading a country.

Using an old fashioned bagged vacuum put moth balls in the bag before you install it onto the vacuum. Vacuum on day 1, day, 3, & day 7. Once again on day 14. It renders adult fleas sterile & supposedly keeps larvae from hatching. Once the adults die no more fleas.
