Just saying but this rifle is from 1967 It has the box. Please note the curve in the nice rear stock. It has a saddle ring.

I say look for these guns with the boxes.

I also say that all rifles and all revolvers were made in a special time in our history. It will never happen again.

I'd say the perfect walnut wood stocks are itself a work of art. If you add the fit and finish to a working 30/30 rifle, you are talking about a real investment with the Fed making your savings worth less.

I have another one with a great factory finish and the box. It's a rare Winchester Model 94 as a Buffalo Bill commentative.

Yes, it has a box and a rare 26" barrel.

It will tear up the center in a target at my gun range.

Over the last several months I have been adding to my JM marlins. Trying to add checkered when possible. I sold a Winchester 410 and was able to replace it with a Marlin. So recently I added JMs in
444
450
.410

Today I was fortunate to add this 32-20 in excellent condition to the coral. I need to remove the scope and find me a rear sight!

Just a few of mine.

Top to bottom:

Marlin 375 in .375 Winchester, topped with a Nightforce NXS Compact 2.5-10x32mm

1975 Winchester 94 .30-30

Marlin 444S in .444 Marlin that I chopped the barrel on, converted to straight grip, and some other work.

1942 Winchester 71 .348 Winchester

1966 Winchester 94 Centennial Commemorative. I chopped the 20" octagon barrel to 16", shortened the mag tube to match, installed a Marble's sourdough front sight with a Williams adjustable rear peep. Had all the gold plating stripped, and the entire gun done in black and gray Cerakote.
