The tractor in the agriculture area holding me up
Joggers who I have to swerve my bike around and put myself in further danger because they have to run in the road
Golf cart drivers who think just because they have some lights and a seat belt on their 15 mph cart, they can drive in the road
Panhandlers stepping out in front of my car

Sorry, it was a bad finance joke. I use to constantly give grief to our Canadian division about their budgets that way.... Trip sounds like it would be worthwhile for sure. Don't hit a moose!

I can guarantee that I have put more mile on the road using my peddle power than the sum of people commenting on this forum combined. I have never been hit nor in an accident because I'm not an idiot nor an azzwad.

thats all well and good, but form your previous comment it merely seemed you were disillusioned as to

a)the rules of the road for bikes
b)the possible consequences for not following said rules

That's the point. With this logic in mind, does anyone think that any tax on bikes will change anything? Do you think it will get bikes single file on the road? Will a law that says "You have to" make it so? Or would this be just be another tax and just another law. It's the same argument, just a different topic.

Even the SPLOST taxes that people keep voting in place are wasted on removing sidewalks just to replace them with paver stones.

People who try to avoid traffic by using the exit only lane, staying there till the last possible minute, then stopping because they can't pull in to traffic. Of course I'm stuck behind them because it's my home exit. Ego filled assholes.

i refuse to let them merge at all. my thought about it is to plan ahead

its not so much that as it is if everyone followed the rules and planned ahead traffic wouldnt exist

traffic is caused by two things

1) Marta/police stopping people/emergency vehicles
2) idiots
