Has anyone out there done any serious reloading of 9mm on carbines? I read that some powders will increase speed quite a bit in the carbine, while others don't increase much more than in a pistol. I read that Power pistol does great in the carbine behind a 115 gr but not much more behind the 125 grain. Anyone have anything good to add to this? Thanks, Wallace inGa

I shoot the same load for all our 9mm pistols and for all of our PCCs. I couldn’t tell you what the FPS difference is, but I will check it out next time I’m at the range, I’m curious as well.

9mm carbines shoot any hot ammo good red dot, titegroup, bullseye and others to. Just watch the primers for overcharging and let the tests begin.

My first serious 'project' now I'm getting into reloading is to develop a 147 or 150 gr 9mm recipe that will stay subsonic all the way out to the muzzle of a Ruger PCC so I can shoot suppressed.

My pcc load was .4gr less than my pistol load. That’s using sport pistol.

Pistol load is 134 power factor out of a pistol.
Pistol load out of a 16” pcc was 167 power factor.
