Hello everyone,
I appologize in advance if I'm posting this in the wrong place.
Just down the street from me off of Arnold Mill Rd in Cherokee county at the Arnold Mill Elementary School there is a 1/2 scale replica of the Vietnam Memorial set up for viewing 24/7 thru Sunday. They also have an 18-wheeler display trailer with pictures, articles, letters, medals, and other items that are pieces left at the wall in rememberance. This is put on by the same people that made the wall in DC, Vietnam Veterans Memorial Fund. There are veterans there to ask questions, help you find a name, etc. The names are also in the exact same place/order as the wall in DC.
For some reason this was never broadcast on the news... There were 40+ veterans on motorcycles preceeding the truck as well as over 60 additional motorcylcists that joined them. It does not cost anything, but they do accept donations. It is really nicely setup and if anyone has any interest in viewing it I highly reccomend doing so.
